In short

Who is responsible for your data

Readyo is published by Marouane Gazouzi, an individual developer (the "controller" of your data under the GDPR). Contact: aveniamarouanemohamed@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

DataWhy we use itHow long we keep it
Anonymous account ID (created by the app on first launch)To keep your interviews, reports and purchases togetherUntil you delete your data in the app
Your voice recording of each answerTo transcribe your answer (speech to text)Not stored by Readyo. It is sent to Groq for transcription and then discarded
Transcripts of your answersTo score your answers, write feedback and an improved answer, and show your report again laterUntil you delete your data in the app
The job ad or role you enter, and your interview settings (type, level, language, interviewer)To plan relevant questionsUntil you delete your data in the app
Scores, feedback and reportsTo show your results and your historyUntil you delete your data in the app
Purchase records (product, date, expiry, transaction ID)To give you the interviews you paid for and to restore purchasesAs long as needed to provide the service and to meet accounting and tax rules

We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, location or contacts. We never use the camera. We don't infer emotions, confidence or personality from your voice: scores are based on the words of your answers and their timing only.

AI processing

Before every practice interview, the app tells you that the interviewer is an AI, not a real person, and asks for your agreement before your voice or text is sent to our AI partners. Scores are AI estimates for practice. They are not hiring decisions, and Readyo never shares them with employers.

These partners process data under their own terms. Please don't include personal details such as your name, address or phone number in your answers. Groq may keep data it processes for a limited time under its own policy.

Transfers outside your country

Our database is hosted in the European Union. Some partners (Groq, Microsoft Azure, RevenueCat) process data in the United States. Where the GDPR applies, these transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Legal bases (GDPR)

What we don't do

Deleting your data

In the app, go to Profile → Delete my data and confirm. This permanently deletes your interviews, transcripts, reports and your anonymous account from our database. It cannot be undone.

Deleting your data does not cancel a Pro subscription: Apple keeps billing until you cancel it in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Apple and RevenueCat keep purchase records as required by law; write to us if you want RevenueCat's record removed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw your consent. Because your account is anonymous, the fastest way to delete everything is in the app. For other requests, email us. Because we don't know who you are, we may need details from the app (such as the date of an interview) to find your data. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Children

Readyo is for job seekers and is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has used Readyo, contact us and we will delete the data.

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to the database is restricted, each user can read only their own data, and API keys never ship inside the app.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and tell you in the app when a change affects how your voice or answers are processed.
